Custom Blocks

Use Custom Blocks for content that needs to be repeated across your site (e.g., forms, adverts, menus, sign-ups). They can be placed on multiple pages and update automatically when edited or deleted.

 

Step 1. Create a Custom Block

  1. Go Create / Edit Pages.
      • Name it CB_(page name).

      • Click Save.

  2. Add your content (text, graphics, form) and Save.
  3. Open Modules → Custom Block (top right).
  4. Under Create a Custom Block
  5. Tick Make this page a custom block of content?
  6. Save Page

 

Step 2: Add the Custom Block to a page

  1. Go to the page where you want the block to appear.

  2. Open Modules → Custom Blocks.

  3. Choose where to display the block:

    • Main Content → Tick Display Custom Blocks in Main Content.

    • Right-Hand Column → Tick Display Custom Blocks in Right-Hand Column.

  4. Select the blocks (CB_page name) from Available Blocks.
  5. The block will appear below existing content in the chosen area.

Optional placement

  • To display in Extra, Top, Bottom areas, or within the middle of page Main Content:

    1. Select the block from Main Content → Available Blocks.

    2. Click the green copy icon beside the block you want.

    3. Paste the code anywhere in your page.

    4. Save the page.

Custom Block Example

A Custom Block could be used for:

    • Forms

    • Adverts

    • Menus

    • Sign-ups

They are more flexible than Custom Panels, since they can be placed in Main, Extra, Top, or Bottom content areas.

 


To edit an existing Custom Block

  1. Find the Page/Custom Block to be edited.
  2. Make your edits to the content
  3. Save Page

Note: These changes will show every page that this Custom Block has been display on.

To add or delete an existing Custom Block to any page

  1. Go to the page you want to display/delete the Custom Block on.
  2. Open Modules → Custom Block (top right).
  3. Tick or untick any of the ‘Available Blocks’ . SAVE
 
 

Custom Block Example

A Custom Block could be used for:
