Posting pages are blogs, articles, events, news, and more. It's the best way to make your website dynamic and interesting, and it automatically creates much more exposure through broadcasting.
What you need before you post

An image (png, Jpeg or similar) 400 pixels wide or deep, minimum.

Copy prepared in a Word file. NOTE: copy taken directly from some formats, particularly email or other websites, will be loaded with code that can corrupt your page. In these cases, copy it to Notepad (or equavalent) and then onto Word.

A captivating headline.
Where to post in your website
Depending on the set-up of your website, there are are several ways to find where to post.
OPTIONS
Typically, a main menu page, such as the Contact page, will display a discrete link, probably called 'Private Posting'. If you are not already logged-in, it will ask for a login.
Steps for option 1

Once you have entered the form to start your post, you will see a selection of page types, which you choose as appropriate to the post you wish to make.

Selection of a page type will take you to an entry form for uploading. On your first visit, fully read the copy in ‘Before You Start’.

Complete the form. Take most care in selecting up to 8 Categories – because that assists wider exposure of the post, and make sure you upload a suitable Signature Image.

Make Post.
You will then be delivered to the saved page. At this point it will be a live page but you might elect to finesse the page further, perhaps adding photos, captions and links. If you do, go to Edit mode (top right peel-out).

The 'Private Posting' page might be available by adding /Posting at the end of the URL, or you can find 'Posting' in the admin 'pages List'.

Once logged-in and in admin mode, say on the Dashboard page, locate 'Posting Pages' in the left admin menu. There you will see all pages where posts can be made. Click on 'Create A New Post' to start your new post.

You might have contributors for your website posting. In these cases, they might have a login to submit a post directly to the website, but where a website manager needs to check and approve the post before it goes live. In these cases, a nominated manager will receive an email alert each time a contributor post is made. The manager simply clicks onto the email link and approves the post.
